Remembering Kendra

In the summer of 2012, Leah fell in love with a little black bunny she named Kendra.

We've had several bunnies and rabbits over the years, but Kendra was her favorite.
   

Leah realized by August that she couldn't take this bunny to college with her and that Kendra needed a new home.  

Leah was heartbroken.  I was heartbroken.

Friends came by after dark one night, packed the bunny up and took her away.

I guess we both let go of our babies that week.
